Inter-School GOAN MANDO singing Competition, at Betalbatim

The Social Club of Betalbatim at its annual function of commemorating the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, pays  rich tributes  to our beloved Father of the nation who taught us the powerful tool of non-violence ( aahimsa).

This year Social Club of Betalbatim will organise INTER-SCHOOL GOAN MANDO COMPETITION on sunday , 2nd October 2011 at 10.00 a.m at Dr. Jose Cota Memorial Hall, Betalbatim.

The Chief guest of the function will be Mrs Ramilla Barros ( headmistress, our Lady of Candelaria High School, Baina ), Prof. Nelly Rodrigues ( Member Zilla Parishad and Ex. Chairperson of SGZP) the Guest of Honour, and to preside Mr. Mickky Pacheco ( Ex. Tourism Minister , M.L.A Benaulim constituency ). Fr. Ubaldo D'Cunha ( Parish Priest, Betalbatim) and Mr. Michael Pereira ( Sarpanch, V.P Betalbatim ) are the special invitees.
