Kum.Dextra Serneja Pereira daughter of Mr. Reis Magos and Assumpta Pereira has won a Gold Medal at National Taekwondo held at Jharkand on 27 aug , 2011. This is the 11th gold medal at National level that she has won in addition to various silver and bronze medals.

Online correction of electrol roll.
The website of Election commission has provided a link to correct any mistakes occurring due to wrong data typed in during data entry. This facility has given an opportunity for working class who were tossed like shuttles from one office to other. Those who dont have access to net can visit VOTER FACILITATION CENTREs, functioning at all the taluka mamlatdar offices .Here you can get all forms related to the electoral roll for free. The form you will require to make a correction to your details on the electoral roll is Form 8 (more details below). Timings are from 9.30pm to 1pm.
Along with these changes, the elector has to provide their elector photo identity card (Epic) and the name of the assembly constituency.

Documentary proof to be attached
Date of birth
Certificate from the municipal authority or district office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths or baptism certificate (in case elector is Catholic).
Birth certificate from the school (government or recognized) last attended by the applicant or any other recognized educational institution.
Illiterate or semi-illiterate applicant will need to attach a declaration in prescribed format by either of the parents already included in the electoral roll. This declaration should support the applicants age. The format will be supplied on demand.
