Our Lady of Remedios Church ,Betalbatim is probably one of the most admired Church of South Goa. The Church has been well maintained after restoring of the grandeur of the Main altar and the side altars with gold leaf pasting. The is paved area between the Church and the lush green lawns, has wooden benches around. These sitting areas get full in the evening when parishioners, The lush lawns decorated with trees is a sight pleasing to the eyes.
Our Lady of Remedios in recent times has been one of the most sort after Church for destination weddings in Goa. This has prompted the committee in charge to think about the parking. The present Parish Priest along with the Committee and parishioners have initiated a plan for organised parking. In addition to the two wheeler parking on the west side, the church has parking for two wheelers on the eastern side.
Betalbatim Sporting Club organised a SUMMER FOOTBALL CAMP at the Betalbatim Ground from 8th April 2018 to 21st April 2018. This camp was for boys and girls between the age group of 7 years to 16 years. Over the years Betalbatim Sporting Club has been instrumental in infusing fresh talent into the game of football by organising such summer camps. The Coaches Mr. Bill Mallet, Cady Furtado and Jhonson D'Souza have given their best as always for this Summer Camp..
