Dr. Marvin Cota, son of the soil was felicitated by Social Club Of Betalbatim at their Inter-School Goan Mando Dance Competition on 2nd October 2019. Dr. Marvin Cota son of Late Dr. Jose Lourenco Cota, bagged an European Patent for his invention on monobolic dental implant. Dr. Cota was felicitated by Mr. Gustavo Afonso, a member of the Social Club of Betalbatim .

The Chief Guest of the function was Dr. Afonso Botelho ( Associate Professor, Rosary College of Commerce & Arts, Navelim). The other invitees who attended the function included Prof. Nelly Rodrigues ( President of Goa Panchayat Mahila Shakti Abhiyan & Zilla Panchayat member), Mr. Constancio Miranda ( sarpanch of V.P. Betalbatim) along with other panchas.The competition was judged by Fr. Peter Fernandes, Mr. Alvaro, Mr. Augusto.
