St Xavier's high school, Velim winners of the mando competition with the chief guest,Mrs. Ramila Barros, headmistress, Our Lady of Candelaria HS, Baina; guest of honour Mrs.Nelly Rodrigues, ZP member and Betalbatim sarpanch Mr.Michael Pereira and the judges Artimizia da Gama, Pervez Gomes and Mariano Almeida. 2nd place was bagged by St Anthony's high school, Majorda
and the 3rd place by Perpetual Succour convent high school, Navelim
