PARISH PRIEST BLESSES LANDSCAPING & COMPOUND WALL PROJECT AT BETALBATIM

Parish Priest Fr. Ubaldo D'Cunha invoked God's blessings on the foundation stone 

of the compound wall and landscaping project of Our Lady of Remedios Church, 
Betalbatim, on Sunday 17th March 2013. 

Chief Guest Mr. Mickky Pacheco MLA who cut the ribbon in the presence of Panchayat members 

and a large number of parishioners, announced that he was redeeming his promise of personally 

funding the project and announced that several other projects he has planned for the village 

will hopefully be completed within a year with the support of villagers. 

In his vote of thanks, Fabrica Treasurer Franklin Fernandes thanked the MLA for his support and 

recalled that earlier the MLA was instrumental in the beautiful Church Park taking shape.
