Winners in Schools Category, Fatima Convent H.S. Margao

St. Michael's Choir, Orlim won the 1^st Prize in the Open Category at the Traditional All-Goa Carol Singing Contest organised by Betalbatim Cricket Club at the Church Square, Betalbatim. Institute of Nursing Education , Bambolim bagged the 2^nd prize whilst Serenaders of  Damodar College, Margao won the 3^rd Prize. In the Schools Category, Fatima Convent H.S. Margao came up trumps followed by Perpetual Succour Convent H.S, Navelim and Our Lady of Snows H.S. Raia. Minister for Archaeology, Archives & RDA Mickky Pacheco who was the Chief Guest and Parish Priest  Fr. Pascoal Afonso who presided, gave away the prizes. A total of 14 groups from North & South Goa participated in the programme which marked the beginning of Christmas celebrations in the village.

All Goa Carol Singing Contest - 2014

Betalbatim Cricket Club orgainses their Traditional All Goa Carol Singing Contest at the Betalbatim Church Square at 5.30 p.m on THURSDAY , 18th DECEMBER 2014. The contest will be judged in two categories , SCHOOLS AND OPEN.

Mr. Francisco Xavier ( MICKKY ) Pacheco ( Hon. Min. for RDA , Archives & Archeology ) has consented to be the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Pascoal Afonso ( Parish Priest, Betalbatim ) will preside.

Christmas Dance at Betalbatim

Betalbatim Sporting Club , established in 1963 has come a long way uniting the Village of Betalbatim through the popular sport of Goa FOOTBALL.

The Christmas season brings another cheer to this club that organises its traditional Christmas dance since last 27 years. This year being a special 50 year celebration of the club , this 28th CHRISTMAS DANCE after the mid night mass on 24th Dec 2014 will be a delight to attend 

The bands in attendance will be ARCHIES AND ALCATRAZZ

The ZIKILY AYESHA along with AMUSING JEFFREY will juggle the mic between themselves.
