Winners in Schools Category, Fatima Convent H.S. Margao

St. Michael's Choir, Orlim won the 1^st Prize in the Open Category at the Traditional All-Goa Carol Singing Contest organised by Betalbatim Cricket Club at the Church Square, Betalbatim. Institute of Nursing Education , Bambolim bagged the 2^nd prize whilst Serenaders of  Damodar College, Margao won the 3^rd Prize. In the Schools Category, Fatima Convent H.S. Margao came up trumps followed by Perpetual Succour Convent H.S, Navelim and Our Lady of Snows H.S. Raia. Minister for Archaeology, Archives & RDA Mickky Pacheco who was the Chief Guest and Parish Priest  Fr. Pascoal Afonso who presided, gave away the prizes. A total of 14 groups from North & South Goa participated in the programme which marked the beginning of Christmas celebrations in the village.
