Boxing introduced in St. Jude's High School, Betalbatim

St. Jude's High School, Betalbatim may be just another village School and looked down upon by some.  But the efforts of the Physical Education Teacher Chadwick Furtado have paid off in recent times. The School is on the vergre of producing some of finest sports talent in years to come. Chadwick has been instrumental in introducing variety in sports the students can choose from. In the month of July boxing was introduced in the under-14 and under-17 for both boys and girls. 

It will be  proud moment for St. Jude's High School, Betalbatim on 17th July 2016 when the school will participate in district level boxing tournament. This will be organised by Directorate of sports of youth affairs at the Peddem Indoor Stadium. Students will be competing in under-14 and under-17 for both boys and girls.
